The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington DC is pleased to invite you to the Swedish Embassy Open 2014 on October 16th at Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club in Leesburg, Virginia.
This annual event attracts decision-making executives representing U.S. and Swedish businesses and government entities. The tournament is followed by an award ceremony and reception hosted by the H.E. Ambassador, Björn Lyrvall, at his Residence. Feel free to invite your clients, business partners, colleagues and friends to this popular tournament that has become one of SACC-DC’s signature events.
Event Information Program:
7:00 A.M. Arrival: Swedish-American breakfast and driving range practice
8:00 A.M. Opening remarks and rules for the day
8:30 A.M. Shotgun start
11:30 A.M. Lunch delivered to players on the course
2.00 P.M. End of tournament. Team captains will sign their team’s score card before handing it in
6:30 – 9:00 P.M. Award ceremony and reception at H.E. Ambassador Björn Lyrvall’s Residence
Dress code: Business casual
As a participant you will receive:

Rules of the Tournament: Mixed Teams: Special two-stroke handicap for teams including at least one female player. The final score of any team with a mix of men and women will be reduced by two strokes. Format: Scramble/Captain’s choice. No handicap consideration. Flights: Teams will be divided into an “A Flight” and a “B Flight.” Flights will be determined following play based on gross scores. Professional Golfers: Must self-identify on the registration form. A team with a professional will add two strokes to their final score. Professionals will play from different tees.
