About SACC-DC’s Internship Program
A One Year Long Journey in the Capital of the United States of America
The one-year internship at SACC-DC consists of two parts: a 6 month full-time internship at the chamber followed by an additional 6 months divided part-time between the chamber and a member company. This solution has been made possible through the resources of The Lars Bjerde Memorial Fund that was established by SAAB North America, Inc. in memory of the years of dedication and effort that the late Lars Bjerde, a former VP of SAAB North America, Inc. provided to the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce network.
At SACC-DC we strive to enrich your learning opportunity and to open new doors, in order to enhance your professional career. We are able to provide you with a valuable experience in a broad setting, offer insight into a non-profit organization as well as expose you to the Swedish-American business relations. Since we are strategically located in House of Sweden you will be given the opportunity to intern closely with the Embassy of Sweden as well as with other Swedish corporations and non-profit organizations.
We currently have two Swedish interns at the office, one full-time and one part-time. Our current part-time intern is with Skanska ID three days/week, where she is learning more about communication and media.
We are currently accepting applications for our next intern. The start of this position will be July 2017, read more about it and apply here.
