Tenley A. Carp is a Partner who has been practicing government contracts law for more than 20 years. She specializes in government contracts litigation, counseling, audits and investigations as well as mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Carp has represented clients in nearly 100 bid protests and/or claims before the Government Accountability Office, Court of Federal Claims, Small Business Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, United States District Courts and the various Boards of Contract Appeals. Ms. Carp’s community involvement includes serving as a Board member (and Immediate Past President) of the Greater Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia Chapter, CCFA; Small Business Committee Chair, FBA Government Contracts Section; Member, Board of Trustees, Springboard Enterprises, Inc. and Pro Bono Mediator, Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division, Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, Ms. Carp was in private practice and also formerly served as an Assistant General Counsel at the U.S. General Services Administration.
In addition to practicing law, Ms. Carp is a serial entrepreneur. One of Ms. Carp’s business ventures involved designing a web-based software program that allowed citizens to respond to jury duty online or by phone. She obtained a U.S. Patent on the Automated System and Process for Conducting Jury Voir Dire.
